Summer Stretching is our summer discipleship experience designed to help middle and high school students grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus. Through weekly gatherings, intentional challenges, serving opportunities, and meaningful community, students will be stretched spiritually, relationally, and personally as they learn to follow Jesus in everyday life. Our prayer is that this summer wouldn’t just keep students busy — it would move them closer to God and help them discover the purpose He has for their lives.

Below are some details of our main events coming up during the Summer.
Join us on Thursday, June 25th from 10am - 2pm at Boerne Lake. We will be swimming and playing volleyball. There's also a paddle board and kayak vendor at the lake if your student wants to rent one. The Boerne Lake is free entry for Boerne residents but is $10 per person for non-Boerne residents. Please have your students bring a lunch with them.
On Monday, June 29th from 5:30 - 7:30pm, our YTH are hitting the streets of Boerne again. We will meet at Canes for a quick dinner, and then break into small groups to go pray for people in our city. This is a great way for your students to get out of their comfort zones, hear from the Lord and be obedient to what He is saying. Please have your student bring money for their dinner that evening.
On Thursday, July 2nd, we are teaming up with the Stand By Me high school students for a fun game of KICKBALL at Northrup Park in Boerne. We are looking at playing from 1-3pm, but that time could be tentative. We will keep everyone in the loop if that time changes.
If you are currently in middle school or high school, don't miss out on The Wave YTH Conference happening July 15-17 in Georgetown, TX. The conference is Wednesday evening through Friday afternoon. We will join in with thousands of other teenagers from across the country to worship, hear powerful teachings and grow together.
Cost: $200 per student
Deposit: $50
We will leave Boerne at 1pm on Wednesday, July 15th. We will arrive back in Boerne at 7pm on Friday, July 17th.

We once again have the privilege of partnering with "Taking it to the Streets" ministry in San Antonio to help feed and love on the homeless community. We will be going on Saturday, July 25th from 5:00-9:00PM to share the love of Christ with those in need. Fireworks Young Adults will be joining us as well. Parents, if you want to come and drive some students, please let me know. The ministry feeds around 200-250 homeless people each Saturday night at 724 Chestnut St. near downtown SA. We will meet in the Fabra Elementary parking lot at 4:45pm (leave at 5pm) to drive downtown. Bring money for a quick dinner afterwards.
